CircleCI – Chunk Campaign

Overview

CircleCI launched “Chunk,” a new build container offering designed to simplify development workflows.

I collaborated across brand, growth, and events teams to lead motion design, editing, and creative execution across a full campaign rollout — spanning product launch video, ABM personalization templates, branded motion systems, booth graphics, and digital out-of-home placements.

The campaign balanced sharp storytelling with scalable templates and clean, developer-first visuals aligned with CircleCI’s product-led brand.

Hero Launch Video

A 60-second launch video introducing Chunk to developers and engineering leads.

Built to feel fast, premium, and product-forward — with strong typography, clear UI integration, and confident pacing.

AWS re:Invent Booth Video

For AWS re:Invent, I created a short-form booth video designed to capture attention in a crowded expo environment and reinforce the Chunk launch narrative.

Built around the tension — AI is speeding up code, but slowing down delivery — the piece translated key product benefits into bold, high-contrast motion optimized for large-format, sound-off playback.

Role:
 Storyboard, motion direction, product animation adaptation, event-optimized visual design

Designed for fast readability, looped playback, and high-impact presence on 16:9 booth screens within an ultra-wide event setup.


Evergreen Messaging Ad

Following the re:Invent booth activation, I adapted the campaign into a 15- and 30-second evergreen messaging spot for broader paid distribution.

The piece retained the core narrative — AI is accelerating development, but slowing delivery — and restructured it for targeted digital placements across premium platforms (e.g., broadcast and streaming environments).

This version shifted from event branding to CircleCI’s core visual system (midnight blue, slime green, jelly pixels), optimized for:

  • Audio-on viewing

  • 720p/1080p high-resolution playback

  • 15s and 30s ad formats

  • Persona-targeted digital distribution

Role: Motion design, editing, brand adaptation, format optimization for paid media.


ABM Personalization System

Created a flexible 16:9 motion template in Canva that enabled the Growth team to generate personalized videos for target accounts.

Focus:
Scalability, localization, non-designer usability


Digital Out-of-Home Campaign

Created bold, high-contrast motion assets for rideshare toppers, airport panels, and event venues during AWS re:Invent and GitHub Universe.

Optimized for:

  • Quick readability

  • Sound-off environments

  • Strong visual hierarchy


Branded Motion Assets

Chunk Character Expressions
Animated a series of facial expressions for the Chunk character, bringing personality and approachability to the brand.


LinkedIn Employer Branding Templates
Designed reusable Canva templates for executive spotlights, employee features, carousel storytelling posts, and new hire announcements.
→ Empowered internal teams to create culture-driven content without sacrificing brand consistency.


SoSDR Dashboard & Report Animation
Created animated visuals for the SoSDR dashboard landing page and report cover, adaptable for multiple screen sizes and PR distribution.
→ Added motion depth to data storytelling across web and marketing touchpoints.


Confident Commit Brand Update
Reimagined and animated a refreshed intro/outro system for Confident Commit, aligning motion, typography (Inter), and CTA design with CircleCI’s evolving brand standards. Built reusable assets to support ongoing video production.


Web Product Page Animation
Animated feature visuals for the product landing page (1330x896), optimized for seamless integration into layered brand backgrounds.
